I joined up when the old 'Radar site' ceased to function and I figured out that this place had been set up.
I came here because as a perpetual beginner I am always in need of help and encouragement.
I managed to sell some stuff when I needed to, I have met a couple of nice people as a result and have taken a few recommendations from people here too.
Highlights: following Emps car threads!

I joined specifically to contact a member who had a guitar posted for sale some months earlier to see if they still had it - really glad I did as its a great forum full of interesting threads. I've also noticed our forum threads pop up in response to search engines questions in the past so should have joined earlier. I like that fact there appears to be little to no spam on here and just decent discussions. Well administrated and monitored!
Back to that guitar that was off the market, a month or two later the guitar has been put back on the market and we have agreed a sale. cant wait!! might have to update my username now tho... =)

I’ve been a member for less than a day, joined to get some info about an old acoustic guitar that’s falling apart.
To early for me to suggest much about the site, maybe tell new users who’ve registered they can’t post until they’ve been approved - but that’s pretty obvious really.
