Hi folks, I thought some of you might be interested in hearing about the Filtertrons I installed in my Gretsch Player's Edition G6229BT Jet to take the place of the BT65s that were originally on board?
Why did I do this?
What did I replace them with?
And what does the guitar sound like now?
All will be revealed...

Thanks so much, both of you!
The pickups have really exceeded my expectations, especially as the bigger companies who offer humbucker sized Filtertrons, #Lollar #SeymourDuncan wind those pickups to have a higher output than these do.
<scoots off to interwebz>
Lollar Lollatrons: DC: Neck 4.4K, Bridge 5.3K
Seymour Duncan Psyclones:
DC: Neck: 7.2k, Bridge: 8.19k
(The Creamery Classic Black Cats:
DC: Neck: 4.1K,  Bridge: 4.6k)
For lots of reasons I won't bore you with, I really wanted low wound/DC Filtertrons so it was wonderful to discover that Jaime at The Creamery could deliver exactly that. They're fantastic and have given this guitar the voice I'd hoped for.
