Need to get hold of 2 or 3 reliable and durable compact guitar stands for Electric guitar and bass and acoustic. What's good these days?

I like the little Hercules ones. I've got an acoustic and an electric model (the only difference is how long the little cushioned fork things are). The electric one should work for a solidbody bass.

I've had mine for ages. The stands are faring very well but the drawstring on the bag for one of them broke, which is hardly damning of their quality.

No good for offset body shapes though, which may or may not be a problem for you.

Thanks, that definitely seems to be a much better, more stable design than these were (I still have one of these)?

Offsets bodies like the Fender Jazz Bass are indeed problematic.

When I had a Jazzmaster I used one of those stands that has a neck cradle and a rocking support that goes under the body.

Much bigger and less convenient to transport than the Hercules stands I use now, but needs must when you gots to have the right axe.

I've got one of these. It folds flat and lives in one of the pockets in my gigbag.

Yeah, one of these.   The yellow bits squash down to accommodate deep-bodied guitars like acoustics.

Yep those Hercules minis are great. I have 3 or 4 and want to get 1 more each of electric and acoustic ones. I’ve been using them happily for well over 10 years
