Ah, go on then. I’m interested ;)
I want to do the Ballad of John and Yoko at the next one
I'm interested.
I’d love to come :)
Was survival car dropped deliberately today? I actually learnt that one properly lol. We could do it next time
My bad. I went through the songs we hadn't done with @onlyonebradders and we must have missed that one.roberty said:Was survival car dropped deliberately today? I actually learnt that one properly lol. We could do it next time
One for next time. At least we had no shortage of songs to play.

It would be really nice to hear your solo guitar arrangement for the Quueen track in full next time.roberty said:I want to do the Ballad of John and Yoko at the next one
Would love to come but not sure if I’ll get a pass this time. Will be a very tentative yes for the moment!
What do you need to get a pass out Ben? If you show the wife the photo from yesterday and say it’s a charity event to “help the old folk rock out” would that help ;)Vibetronic said:Would love to come but not sure if I’ll get a pass this time. Will be a very tentative yes for the moment!
Yup, reckon so!
@digitalscream, could you sticky this please? And un-sticky the one from two jams ago? :)

If Andy isn’t able to do any drumming in Feb, I’m happy to do it again. Would probably be able to add 6-8 new songs in to existing ones IF they can be decided on early enough for me to get them notated and learnt.
Should be ok for me . =)
Haha, good plan! :) From roughly October to April/May coincides with my wife’s hockey season; so most Saturdays are out. I only got this one just gone as I missed it last year and I held her to her promise she’d miss a match this time!!mrkb said:What do you need to get a pass out Ben? Would a Sunday instead of a Saturday be easier for some?
I’m ok with a Sunday, firebird studios said it was quieter/easier onto park on a Sunday
I'm okay for either Saturday or Sunday
Doesn't bother me either way
Yarp, either is fine for me chaps.
Sundays are fine with me
Sunday, bloody Sunday

I'm interested in playing.
I can do Saturday or Sunday's. Though I'm not available the first weekend of February.

That would be awesome, but I don’t want everyone putting themselves out just because Saturday is awkward for me. If it’s easy for people that would be great though as I’d love to come.stratman3142 said:Would a Sunday instead of a Saturday be easier for some?

Thought we could start suggesting tracks we have not done before. I have always liked Slade's version of the Janis Joplin track Move Over (for which there is little in the way of online resources).
I'll start a song list shortly including @Brocco's suggestion.
Some thoughts below, but feel free to shoot me down, or chip in with other ideas:
It would be good to have some new songs, so should we add about 6 to 8 new songs as suggested by @mrkb ;;
I think we had more than enough songs at the last jam. Perhaps we could also drop a few from the current list to keep the total number to about 25. That would give a bit more time for some polishing up, multiple runs throughs with different line-ups etc.
Also, it might be nice to allocate up to a hour to talk about and try gear. I know at least a couple of people brought amps to try out, and there wasn't time to give them a proper run through.

in terms of finding a date in February that we can all make, I can't do the weekend of 17th/18th unfortunately and @Neilybob has advised that he is unavailable the first weekend (3rd/4th), so how is everyone fixed for 10th/11th or 24th/25th?
At the moment I can make your suggested dates. Are we going to try a Sunday this time?
I believe everyone confirmed that Sunday is okay for them, so suggest we try and find one that works for all of us as a first step
