Diy sellers on reverb

I came upon a seller who makes mad professor clone pedal, but he put his brand as mad professor so when you search for mad professor you find his clones too, even though they're not made by mad professor. I sent him a message to let him know it may be confusing for buyers but he got defensive and offensive so I just let him be.

How is this allowed by reverb? Is it not false advertising?
