I’m happy to give anything a go tbh. I would rather have 10 easy songs to learn than one difficult song. Songs like Born to be Wild, All Right Niow, jailbreak, any songs by AC/DC etc. I’m happy to murder any of these in the interest of making noise.  There is no pressure to be the next Steve Vai. This is all about having fun.

I've also changed the title to southern, rather than south east as I don't feel we very east.  Probably more south central tbh.

Oh yeah, that's one.

I should add that I detest Smoke on the Water and am now boycotting this event. 

Also I will pimp out the fretboard songbook thread here too as it might be the first get-together that makes use of it once it's all narrowed down.

As most of the recent tFB jam session attendance was from the High Wycombe/Reading area I think we planning around that area.

Looking a lot like it's going to be in October. Works for me. 

Lots of people dropped out of the recent jam session because we chose the weekend at the start of the kids school holidays so let's avoid the last two weekends in October. 

So we have 

Saturday 5th October 
Sunday 6th October 
Saturday 12th October 
Sunday 13th October 
Saturday 19th October 
Sunday 20th October 

Which dates work best for you?
