out of interest, what exactly does "double gold" mean on these?
I think that the back is gold?
Double gold is the particular shade of gold used on some guitars. It’s a slightly darker shade. Very confusing. Nice R7 this!

@mankytom is correct. It refers to the shade of Gold paint. It has an ever-so slightly green tint to it.

Its not a mega chunky one. I’d say its got more beef than a ‘59 but its not ‘58 fat. I normally play a strat with a medium C profile and it takes no time at all to adapt to the gold top.
