Hi all, I’m making the leap from building for myself to building for others and thought I’d show off some builds and in progress stuff, feel free to look me up on instagram and I’m happy to hear feedback positive or negative.
My current build in process is a harmonic percolator using an oc45, mustard cap and a tungsram ge diode I pulled from an old radio, and the enclosure is an old model train transformer box, paint job in progress, featuring the Point Pleasant Mothman as Halloween is approaching

I haven't got Instagram but these look very interesting.  Looking forward to see future constructions.

They won’t all be in those enclosures I doubt I’ll get any more soon but I did one in a 1590bb, I’ve since shortened the name -

Enclosure in progress for the above fuzz face board

I’ve discovered that if you pull a stretchy fabric like a T-shirt really tight you can do it without having to make any cuts or folds.

Another one finished. I hate paint and really enjoyed this, can’t see me buying any more rattle cans

Silicon fuzz face I’m finishing up -

These look great. Glad you made the leap, these pedals need to be on boards!

I'd definitely add power supply polarity protection to any with a DC socket.

And maybe change to the crossed wiring for the bypass - better noise performance and more resilient if the switch fails.

You could run a reversed diode actually underneath the board so it's hidden, if you went from the power lug on the board to ground might work?? Won't ruin the classic look then but gains a bit of modern protection.

I’m only planning to use dc jacks on the stuff that needs standard power and non-super-rare bits so I’m not too worried tbh, if I’m worried I’ll just make it battery only. Not to say I won’t change my mind on it, taking them one at a time

I think the only thing I’d have to do to make it sound the way I actually speak is make it ‘Alifax Audio
