Sorry to hear about your dad and your friend. This is a great tribute.
Thank you.LionAquaLooper said:Sorry to hear about your dad and your friend. This is a great tribute.
So sorry about your dad, loss is dreadful - I'm currently suffering the long, drawn out grief of my fathers' Alzheimer's ... a wonderful brain and an amazing man who now recognises nobody, not even me.
That track is a wonderful tribute, and I'm going to have huge fun slapping to that on my double bass today - you have brought a bit of sunshine into my life, thank you. Music is a healer.

Agreed. I'm sorry to hear about your Dad too. Seems a cruel world sometimes.OilCityPickups said:So sorry about your dad, loss is dreadful - I'm currently suffering the long, drawn out grief of my fathers' Alzheimer's ... a wonderful brain and an amazing man who now recognises nobody, not even me.

Thank you, this sort of music leaves it all up to the bass player. I had a VST double bass on the original track and muting it leaves a sparse accompaniment, so it's all down to the bass player in this band.
My mourning routine is to cry a bit and laugh a bit, like real life, and while the rest of us are left to live, there is always good reason to be happy. Here's a track in C major to walk your bass around that does it's best to pass on happy feelings from those who knew the importance of a daily dose.
