Thanks for listening, I'm really glad you enjoyed it.

Yes the album is like this and also in parts a lot more riffy and, dare I say it, rootsy...
I enjoyed that. Digital album pre-ordered.
Another band @Loobs ?!!

That's a beautiful track B)

Really only two right now. Thanks a lot for listening.
Good stuff.
I'm always wary listening to long songs- writing something you can play for ten minutes is easy, but writing something that justifies listening for that long isn't.
Needn't have worried.

I’m playing the last album at this very moment!

Ah thanks Andy, yeah the album is out, thanks for listening! Hope you’re well.

I used my old black G&L ASAT for cleaner stuff, but my pink Jazzmaster w. a Mojo widerange humbucker in the bridge for most stuff.

I also used Mike the other guitarist’s SG, and I think an Edwards LP for some of the dirtier overdubs.

FX was a Box of Rock for drive, Park Fuzz, Flint, Boss DM3, Strymon Lex. Maybe a JHS Angry Charlie for some of the most dirty parts.

Amps were my Traynor YBA1a, a vintage Princeton Reverb, a JTM45 reissue. And I think a Hiwatt DR504 once or twice.

While we’re at it:

Keys: Juno 60, Nord Stage, Minimoog, Moog Grandmother, Farfisa, Rhodes

Bass; Pbass into an SVT l, can’t remember which pedals he used.

Also used a Korg Stage Echo for a lot of stuff during mixing.
I'm damned if I can get Alexa to play this album (or artist) when I'm in the kitchen! ;)

Failed strategy...
"Alexa...play 'Woodbury Hollow'"...yep, that works.
"Alexa...what's this band?"...yep.
"Alexa...what album is this track on?"...yep.
"Alexa...play the album 'Oase' by 'Weite'"...fuuuuuuuuu

We actually thought about calling the album

”prounounced vai-tuh”
That's how Alexa pronounces it...but not how it hears it ;-/

I don't own the account that Alexa is using so I can't disguise the album in an 'easy to say' playlist.
The missus now has some very odd stuff in her listening history!

Heh! I'm impressed you even know how to say it. It's a joke in the band how people pronounce the name, especially Americans. Ironically, only one of us is German.
