Great job everyone, and a great track too!
5 points @Lewy - Nicely understated and cool bluesy licks, good use of space.

3 Points @stratman3142 - Another calm melodic approach and some lovely note choices and nice bends.

1 Point @Axe2Grind - Seems a shame that this only gets 1 point, more bold in tone and melody, well executed.

5 points @ Stratman3142
3 points @ Lewy
1 point Bellycaster.

All excellent takes with more traditional blues tone and feel,  Excellent note choices and phrasing all round.

All really good and incredibly difficult to choose between them. All have great note choices and are very expressive.

In the end, when it came to making a choice, the only real differentiator I could find was guitar tones that best fitted to style of the backing. For this track, I have a preference for less biting tones.

So my votes are as follows:

5 points : @Bellycaster : A natural warm tone that just seemed to 'sit right'

3 points : @Lewy : This was an interesting tone and a bit Roy Buchanan'ish. Your Charvel Guthrie Govan does a good impersonation of a Tele.

1 point : @Axe2Grind : Great playing, expressiveness and feel. A good tone that would cut really well in some contexts. I just found it a bit too aggressive for this specific backing track.

I have to agree with your tone comments. I feel I did have a bit too much OD with mine, all you other's had a much nicer cleaner tone with a dash of grit which certainly bits this style perfectly. Appreciate the comments though :)
