Backing music

I sometimes buy a track off a site called Karaoke version , you can take certain tracks out of a song & you can change it if you need to . It’s about a couple of quid a song so if you really need a good backing track it’s great .
i also use an online converter to convert or download YouTube videos as mp4/mp3 then use amazing slow downer to practise with them

Get Moises or something similar and create your own. Isolates tracks into the various parts which you can remove at will. Brilliant for the more obscure stuff that's never going to be on a karaoke site.
Might have to check out this Moises AI thing. I've been looking for a fuss-free easy way to record guitar covers with the original recording, just with the guitars taken off. I believe this can do it as I looked up a few YT videos. Simply mute the guitar track and export to mp3/wav? Then I use that as the audio file for my DAW? I don't need a Premium account to do this do I?
I looked at Moises a long time back but maybe didn't scrutinise its capability closely enough ... I think I need to take another look.
Thanks for suggestions.
I revisited Moises last night but I only have the freebie version at this point ... is the fully-paid version worth it? What does it give in addition?
My only niggle is that most of my music is on the Spotify platform and I can't upload tracks from there into the Moises app ... does the fully paid version enable that?

I too checked it out and uploaded a song from Spotify. I had to convert it to an mp3 file first externally before uploading it. I don't think you can share url links from streaming platforms, paid or unpaid (unless I'm wrong).
The free version only limits you to 5 monthly tracks, and a host of other limitations are in place (says somewhere on the website). I do think its about £3.33 per month though for the paid version so I might get it.
Its great though, I muted the guitars so I could record my own for a song and I really like it. Everything else is there in a full mix and sounds good.

How about the solo of the month challenges here?
If you want some fun with coming up with lead parts within a variety of genres and with a focused time frame to do it for motivation then it's ideal

If you ever heard me trying to play a solo, particularly an original piece, then you'd undoubtedly retract the invite ... I take the point about motivation but I am truly awful :anguished:

Thanks for your consideration.
