Behringer X32-q IEM app

I hope someone might be able to help. At my church we have the Behringer X32 mixer and I have been using IEMs and doing my own mixes with the X32-q app. We’re now rolling this out to the whole music team and I’m discovering an issue. Some Android users can’t download the app as it says it’s designed for older Android versions (even though they’re using the same version as me - different -phone though)
Googling it isn’t helping and so I wonder if anyone else has had this issue and could advise? Interestingly the iOS app is different it seems (Need to test it out on Sunday) and is the MX-Q app

Not sure if this is helpful as I don't have experience with the X32 specific app, but we run the Mixing Station app which covers XAir and X32 setups as well as a bunch of other brands. Might suggest trying that if you can't find a workaround.

Thanks. I was reading up about that. Costs £5.99 which isn't big but I need to persuade people to pay it. Also, I can't see if you can set it just to be used for IEMs and not to control the whole desk?

Yes - I have a Samsung S23 and have the app and use it weekly. I shared that exact app with them but for some reason on a Google Pixel 7 it's not working. Strange

If you're only using it for IEMs you only need one user to have Pro. You can set it to lock for each user to only see one screen so they can't edit the FoH feed by mistake (I'm guilty of doing this several times which is why they put me into kiddie mode).

Ah that's really helpful - thank you! Don't suppose you know how many users can have it with one paying user?
Sorry, not entirely sure. There's three in the band plus at least three subs, me included, who use the app. I believe they only have the one paid subscription but I could be totally wrong there.
We use mixing station to setup our IEM mixes on our XAir system - from what I've seen we've been using the one-off licenses rather than a subscrition of some kind and I think that license is per app store account, where they can have it installed on up to four devices. Certainly the owner of the system had a license on an android phone and I didn't get the benefit on an iphone, after I bought a license I think that other people on ios still had the licencing timeout restriction.
Being able to lock it to just controlling one person's IEM mix saves so much hassle...
Monologue to band:

It’s the price of a battery or a drink and the product of someone’s (ongoing) hard work.

You don’t actually *need* a decent monitor mix, if it’s something you value then that’s a small price to pay.

Also worth considering - Mixing Station will run on a clockwork mouse. I still have it on my old iPad (iOS 9.3.5) which is otherwise pretty useless.
These guys spend so much time making these apps too, it's less of a business and more of a labour of love. With more swearing.
