Multi FX for Vocals and Guitar
Hi there, is there a multi fx that can do the realtime harmoniser thing for vocals plus regular guitar stuff?

I have a TC Helicon Voicelive Electric and that does it
Oooo nice cheers
I have the TC Helicon VoiceLive 2, which also fits the bill (although I only use mine to process vocals)

Just seen that the Headrush Prime does it too, just not as well.
The headrush prime/core is garbage in my experience. So much potential but just sounds baaaaaad.
It would be the perfect unit for me if sounded better.
My friend had the smaller MX5 and it was poo, my helix stomp destroyed it. I think they use tech from the old pro tools eleven rack?Bats_ said:The headrush prime/core is garbage in my experience. So much potential but just sounds baaaaaad. It would be the perfect unit for me if sounded better.
That’s exactly what they did, with the newer stuff they have added some amplitube models I believe.longshins said:My friend had the smaller MX5 and it was poo, my helix stomp destroyed it. I’ve bought a core, twice… when it first came out and then a few months back, after the most recent firmware update.
Release was a joke, the amount of latency when using a clone was unusable. Everything else sounded exactly the same as the MX5 I also had.
New firmware helped the latency, almost perfectly, but the sounds were the same. I only used free clones first time so I bought a few from one of the major profilers and just sounded bad.
I tried really hard to like it.
Bought a Kemper stage and immediately, first stock profile, nothing at all touched sounded incredible… so now I use a Kemper stage and VE-500, more to carry but it sounds amazing.
I still keep one eye on the headrush updates… if only…
I know it doesn't answer the question but I've got the blue boss thing and the eh harmoniser. I mix and match with guitar pedals. I think the red boss one does harmonies. I can then use my favourite pedals on the board.
A bit late to this, but I went to see Nick Harper a few months ago. His live setup is his acoustic guitar and a vocal mic straight into a full fat Helix, which he fed into the PA. Great base sound, with expressive use of effects. Vocally, he only really used reverb and delay, IIRC - no harmonising. But I believe a Helix can do that, no?
I've done it with my Helix - it's not bad at all. I've never tried one of the TC dedicated vocal units to compare it with though.
As always with this sort of thing - a little of an effect goes a very long way!
