Actually I find it quite fascinating how some people are just programmed to play piano from the outset of life. For some reason we seem to see pianists more than other instruments.
The person that has always fascinated me is the blind autistic savant Derek Paravicini. I highly recommend the documentary on him which is on Youtube. Yes, he's not a small kid, but he can play literally any piece of music after hearing it once. Amazing pianist!
