I did try watching La Vie en Rose not long ago so presumably it would have got to Charles/ NJNRR at some point but it was such a relentlessly depressing film I didn’t get that far. One of the highest grossing films ever in France. She was a sensation of the age so having written the best known songs by one of the greatest voices,a solo career, worked with Barbara Streisand,etc, obviously a talented man.
