Snake skin effect paint job

A customer specced a snake skin finish on his order, before changing his mind twice to something else, and ever since then I'd been wanting to do the snake idea. So I did, on a stock guitar (the shape is from another order for a thrash metal guitarist) and it just seemed like the perfect opportunity to give it a go. And the scale effect was created by a good old fashioned pair of fish net tights - obviously my wife's, not mine  :# 
The colour is a gold/green/copper flip pearl, and I decided on a textured finish after the first coats of clear as it just looked too cool to flatten off (imo anyway). Having the Fishmans in, I decided to illuminate the side dots again haha

Respect. That came out absolutely stunning.
