I went to the US to see a Satch/Vai gig earlier this year, well worth seeing. Both were great, I loved it and I'm a cynical bugger. It would have been cheaper to wait for them to play Manchester but I regret nothing :D

I saw the first G3 tour over here (although it was just the two of them!) plus I've seen Satch about 5 times and Vai 3, all well in the past. All gigs superb! I'll go unless the tickets are too expensive
They playing at York Barbican which is ideal. Just down the road from me. Judas Priest are playing at Scarborough too, so 2025 is looking like a good year for gigs pretty much on my doorstep. But yeah, I’ll have to see what the prices are first also.
It’s quite amusing that the VIP ticket is only for a single reserved seat. It’s like they already knew.
Got tickets for me and my Dad, pretty sure this will be 20 years since we first saw Vai and he loved it despite not listening to his music.
We saw Satch the year after and I wasn’t a fan of the show at all and I’ve barely listened to him since so it should be interesting.

I saw Vai for the first time a couple of years ago in Manchester and it was incredible. Might have to take up this chance to see the master and pupil together!
