I'm looking to buy a used compact digital camera for one of my kids. Was hoping to be able to pick something up that might be half decent (or at least better than the camera in an old smartphone) for my budget of £50? Let me know if you've anything that might fit the bill  :)

Or alternatively if you have some digital camera knowledge please feel free to point me in the direction of an Ebay listing or other classified ad, I don't really know what to look for! TIA

Hi @uksaint7 , I have a digital camera knocking about I don't use anymore.  It's a bit old now but you could have it for postage if you can use it. Let me know and I'll dig it out and test it.

Very kind @Supportact, well thanks yes I'd certainly be interested. Don't suppose you recall the model?

Hello, I have a Panasonic TZ70 - it's about 5 years old but hardly used.

I took it on holiday once, but Our Maud takes most of the photos on her mobile, so it was surplus to requirements.  I've just plugged it in to charge up, make sure it still works.

*edit* just found the box, too.

How does £25 posted sound to you?
