FS: Patrick James Eggle Macon Carved Top - £2,750
Comments
Wow. Not seen many macrons at that price. About half the price of a new one. Bargain. Absolutely brilliant guitars.
Thanks, @chris78 - I've not seen many macarons at that price either! :)
I like macaroons
It’s a shit market and this is a daft price bump.
Remind me, what time do you go out to work pal?
@Deijavoo I work from home =)
Ok, when gigging without that guitar?
@Deijavoo I can’t get a gig for love nor money.
I’m out near the end of the year to watch some mug I know pretend to be Puffy Bordin.
Well no-one has asked yet,so I will...

Baja added.
Bump.
And again.
Considering trades on the PJE.
It's such a good guitar!
Still needs a new home.
Let's see if anybody wants an Xmas present to self.

Beautiful guitar that has some dings around the body - the neck is clean. The finish was designed to craze (aged nitro finish), which it has. Looks superb.
Fat 'C' neck profile. Radius is 12". Maple/mahogany body with mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard. Weighs 7lb 8oz.
Pickups upgraded to Monty's Full Monty's (around £275 a set) - A2 bridge (9k) and AV neck (7.9k).
Described as: "Conceived to be the most versatile Humbucker imaginable, the Full Monty is capable of covering a simply mindboggling range of tones from sweet, bright cleans to massive rock tones and beyond. Our Full Monty Humbucker was actually the first pickup that Monty’s ever made, designed by Matt (he’s the boss), for personal use in a covers band. The idea was to marry the big, growly bass of a high output Humbucker with the complex mids and crystalline highs of a good PAF. In our experience, many higher-output humbuckers either have a nice bass response and skinny treble, or thick treble and loose, muddy bass. We absolutely felt we could fix this and, after much tinkering, arrived at the Full Monty."
