Dsl40cr midi problems

If it's within warranty I'd get it sent back.
Never had any problems with midi but my first one used to switch channels randomly on its own.
Marshall replaced it with no issue.

I find the midi on both the 100 and 40 to be utter crap. Don’t waste your time!
It really baffles me why amp companies waste (their and their customers') money by putting MIDI switching into amps, when probably 99% of owners will never use it. It adds another potential failure/obsolescence point, and uses money that would be better spent either reducing the price of the amp, or upgrading it in some way, like... maybe... not fitting such a cheap speaker.
If you really want to switch an amp via MIDI, there are ways of doing it externally, although for something with fairly complex switching such as the 6-button footswitch that comes with one of these, it might need a custom box.

It seems to be working again, I rerouted the midi cable, it may have been a bit tight on the TRS side. I quite like the way it works with an ES5
It's fine without the midi connected, any ideas
