uk amp builder recommendations please
Hi all , looked at the ceriatone route and they are great amps , I have a used yeti , but new by the time it's shipped and taxes it's unaffordable. I would rather put my money into a uk builder . Recommedations please . to build a plexi type head with some switchable options. solid state / tube rectifier switch , few different tone / cap options/ etc. So I can go from warm jtm45 to a brighter gainier hendrix type amp. I have jcm800 tones covered with the yeti.

633 - I have 2 of Cliffs amps and I love em. He’s a top chap too.
Cornell Plexi
I could, I have actually just finished off a black flag plexi going to France with a switch to change between black flag specs and later 69 super lead specs -img below. It is a very nice amp that covers pretty much all the late 60's plexi tones. Only thing is my build list if full till middle of next year now.GoldenEraGuitars said:@Modulus_Amps could help here
All the other builders mentioned on this thread are also highly recommended too.

Lovely work! SO good to see sleeving on all the mains ouchey bits!
Dave.
Vyse Amplification make some nice stuff, and have made a wide variety of amps in the past, so there's another one to throw into the mix.
@Modulus_Amps that looks really nice.Modulus_Amps said:I could, I have actually just finished off a black flag plexi going to France with a switch to change between black flag specs and later 69 super lead specs -img below. I would second those advising 633 and Modulus - both excellent folk to deal with and producers of rather lovely amps.
Chris at Rift also produce cracking amps (I'm still hankering after a V-Front)...

Another vote for Chris @RiftAmps
DWJ amps in Liverpool. I think he currently has a JTM type for sale too
