Harley Benton Spaceship Power - any users?
Anyone have any experience with these powered pedal boards? I’m kinda interested in the 60XL as a board for gigs and recording. The built-in power bar is the main attraction, as is the price, but is it any good? Cheers.

I don't know about that particular case, but their separate power supplies are great. I had ISO-2 Pro for years (now I got ISO-12 Pro), it was flawless, silent and reliable. Tested under heavy gigging and touring conditions, so I believe their bult-in options should be the same.
I have the smaller one. Bought it specifically for my HX Effects because it has that 3000mA port. Can't fault it. I no longer need to plug into wall plugs while using my board.
I'm also going to buy a Spaceship Power board once I work out what size I need.
The convenience of the built in power is great and should it ever fail, you can buy replacement power bars for it.

Been running the ISO-10ACPro for over a year now and it is splendid. Current doubler cable works fine with the HX Stomp and Effects and sits under my Spaceship 40.
This is all very encouraging- thanks for the info everyone.
One thing to note though (and you might know this already) is that the bigger the board, the greater the temptation to put as many digital pedals in there, and they're more power hungry. That will mean the battery will run out quicker. But if you're using mostly analogue pedals then go nuts.
Thanks! Mainly analogue, but I don’t plan to use it on battery power much if at all. Certainly I don’t want to use battery for gigs.LionAquaLooper said:One thing to note though (and you might know this already) is that the bigger the board, the greater the temptation to put as many digital pedals in there, and they're more power hungry. An acquaintance turned up with one these at Jam Night recently. Very neat and so far he’s entirely happy with it…
If you want one with a built in battery pack then that's a different model - 60XL-B.
The integrated board/supply design is great; they look like a fine solution for a smaller, more portable board or even something to tack-on ad hoc to the current one.
Does anybody know if the spaceship board will accept mountings for a Cioks DC7/8? I thought perhaps also get a larger HB board bundle for less power intensive analogue pedals, leaving the Cioks mounted underneath to power larger digital boxes.
Ah right - that’s the difference between the XL and the XL-B! Was trying to figure that out - thanks.DiscoStu said:If you want one with a built in battery pack then that's a different model - 60XL-B.
