Wanted: chisels and saws for woodworking

Any woodworkers here?

I did a super basic woodworking lesson this weekend and it was even more fun than I thought. And I'd like to buy a set of half decent bench chisels and rip/crosscut saws. Smaller sizes preferred  (I'm not looking to saw sheet materials or tree trunks.)

I may want planes/etc later, but for now I just want to practice and develop a feel.

I have a pair of Stanley spokeshaves (one flat, one curved) that you can have for the postage if you like?

Otherwise they're going to the tip recycling centre.

Wow - that's very kind. Yes please. We didn't get that far in the lesson, but I'm getting enthusiastic. :)
