What strings for an old Parlour Guitar ?

Can anyone recommend a set of strings for this old parlour guitar with a slot headstock and pin bridge .. Currently strung with a really old set of standard acoustic strings -  Thinking of silk and steel strings , would these be ok  ?

Silk and steel makes sense to me. Or silk and bronze, which are similar but with a bit more twang and oomph. (Like cross between silk and steel and phosphor bronze, leaning more towards the silk and steel sound.)

In my book La Bella makes the best silk and steels. GHS make a nice silk and bronze set, the John Pearce one is even better.

Silk strings have a softer feel and lower tension than brass or bronze: for this reason it is often worth going up a gauge to compensate or (better) going with a bluegrass set - 12-56 instead of 12-52ish.

Another vote for the John Pearce Silk & Bronze.  I use them on my 1917 Washburn and they sound great.
Newtone Heritage, depending on scale length either 11-47 or 12-51, would be my choice

Maybe email Newton Strings and ask, I've found them really helpful with this kind of question
