New Resonator Day: Mule #1404

Hot on the heels of a recent New Mandolin Day, I just took delivery of this rather nice resonator I ordered from Mule in March. 

It's amazing, well worth the wait. 

That is a thing of beauty. I’m only 2 hours away from them today - seeing in-laws in Michigan. I’d have been happy to bring it back by hand (and play it for a few weeks en route :)). Fingers currently triple-crossed for the Charlie Parr signature raffle he’s running!

I’d love a Mavis as well but I can’t really justify it. They look amazing tho.

I still have less guitars than my better half has shoes, so I’m still not calling it a collection. I need a better collective noun for them, tho  =)

I like to call it an investment of guitars. It may not be true, but it sounds so much better.
