some sort of ambient reverb with gated settings and octaves ? Or maybe a freeze pedal type thing ?
Mooer Trelicopter?
Mooer Yellow Comp?
I know....Nano POG.

I can get the reverb freeze type thing out of the volante i believe (havent learned it in depth yet), it can do a sound on sound, tape looper, pad sort of sound. Octaves is where it would be lacking... helpful suggestion :)spev11 said:some sort of ambient reverb with gated settings and octaves ? Or maybe a freeze pedal type thing ?
Consider my interest well and truly peaked by the trelicopter, off to youtube i goLionAquaLooper said:Mooer Trelicopter?

move everything along and shove a Keeley OctaPSI at the front? Does a whole host of mad pitch/octave/synth crazy noises and a fuzz cos you can never have enough noisy pedals. Or the Behringer Octave Divider? Again a bonkers octave but it does not track very well past single notes, i'm sorry I sold mine apart from it being the size of the moon
The Pigtronix Moonpool weird tremolo thing was going cheap at Thomann a few weeks ago but they seem to have all gone now, one might turn up cheap. They've still got the Space Rip octave synth on special offer if you want your guitar to sound like farts and old computer games (c'mon that's more interesting than a tremolo).
Altoids tin!
Speaking of octave fuzz are those mxr mini's with the hendrix graphics any good?spev11 said:move everything along and shove a Keeley OctaPSI at the front? I’d put some sort of envelope filter/autowah in there. Funkiest sound on the planet. Donner do a good one

It does a bunch of stuff but at some point in every demo it sounds like flatulence.
Or something normal like an MXR Phase 95 or Deep Phase.
If you move the moonshine to the right a bit, then everything else can shift up a bit too - would you have room for a TC electronic Plethora X1?
That way, you can use that slot as pretty much any pedal type you want.

I don't have one, but I'd be tempted to try a Phase 95 there.
Although I'd probably sneak in the Proco Lil Rat, not that it fits your criteria...
Rainger FX Bleep - fuzz which goes bleep when you stop playing. Their reverb might be good with the Volante
Not a modulation pedal but a mini BBE Sonic Stomp would make a huge difference to your sound. Much more dynamic and clearer
Something Z-Vex, or a Mr Black Deluxe Deluxe Plus for verb and trem?
Phase 95
I have actually returned the volante, i wasnt as happy with it as i expected to be, and think i can get the sounds i need from a smaller cheaper delay. So now i have more room :)
Just bought a Pigtronix Moon Pool. Will report back but could be perfect for that slot
Now you have space for a Fractal FM3
Haha. Tbf a hx stomp would fit there and then i have plenty delays reverbs & modulation but ive used them a ton and a bit bored of that platformLionAquaLooper said:Now you have space for a Fractal FM3![]()
I’ve got a phase 95 sat doing nothing if you decide to go that route
Whole thread is void for me now as i change my mind about gear more than i change my jeans. Caught the modeller bug again. Maybe someone else saw this and got an idea for a pedal they want though.
Polytune > Moonshine > IR-D > Volante > Splitter (half back to the friedman for IR to FOH, half to backline amp fx return if needed)
Would be nice to fill the space in the top left with an additional effect, something modulation-ish, inspiring and creative ideally
What would you put there if it was your board, any suggestions?
