String recommendations for open tunings
Comments
I've never found a particular brand that are less prone to going dead, or intonation issues when constantly trying different tunings.
Have found a few DADGAD sets I've preferred to a normal set due to the gauge differences. Actually, I have a set of Newtone Strings Heritage DADGAD 13, 17, 20, 27, 36, 59 you're welcome to if you paid for postage.

Thanks Bruce, that's very generous of you, happy to pay postage or buy them off you! Will PM you...
I need to re-string the guitars soon, and wondered if there are any strings that may be better able to cope with frequent re-tuning?
I'm much more an electric player usually, so don't know much about acoustic strings, but had one snap recently, and that made me wonder if some sets are more likely to be able to cope with the demands of frequent tuning changes?
Thanks for any info!
