I finished up the build a few weeks back (
post here) but didn't have time to paint it. But now i'm off work for a couple of weeks I had time to break out the Montana Gold rattle cans... this time a fetching shade of pink called Strawberry frost (very shell pink like).
Then I set about it with the sandpaper, razor blade and a small rock. Sorry relic haters.
Overall I'm happy with this one from a visual point of view - I won't lie relic finished are handy for hiding any of my cack - handed -ness.
I do like the sunbear sunbird pickups a lot as well.
anyhow some pics... (still need to add a decal to the headstock)
