Ive always been a fan of the Eagles, just tuned into sky arts Eagles Live from LA Forum, they sound like the Eagles look like an old codgers cover band!

Age comes to us all. Having said that, the current incarnation of The Eagles only has two or three "proper" members, doesn't it?
Sometimes it's better to let it lie.
I’ve been looking at some photos of me playing in a band nearly 40 years ago today. I looked embarrassing.
Now I’m bald and nearly 40 years older…

I always admired those bands who left their audiences hungry for more instead of carrying on and making their audiences question why they didn't quit years ago.

I watched that a while ago. There is a younger member I think (son of one of them)? Although assumed that The Eagles were born as old godgers.
The Eagles were well past their sell-by decades back. They don't need the money so why they continued is beyond me. I liked them back in the day but my interest in seeing them live was, errm, back in the day.
Do you think they're still as talonted?

Not everyone wants to retire, and their options are probably similar to most other people's in that regard: travel, take up origami, be more available to babysit the grandchildren. If playing music is their thing and they're still vertical, chucking in the towel may not be the best option.Haych said:I always admired those bands who left their audiences hungry for more instead of carrying on and making their audiences question why they didn't quit years ago.
