If you find out PM me. Please.
I'm sure you can pay for a load of men in uniform to turn up, though whether they're actual policemen or not is another matter..

Oooooooo....win/win then.....
That’s the trouble with Britain today. You can’t even rely on the police to arrest your family anymore.
Doesn't it depend on the size of the gathering? That isn't a euphemism BTW ;)Gassage said:All- a simple legal question
Remember in Covid times when, if you were caught with your family around for Christmas, the Police would show up and they'd arrest them all?
Just wondering if this service is still available?
DM me....

Two simple strokes of red biro applied to a Covid test will banish all your festive vicissitudes.
Just tell the coppers all your family members misgendered you on twatter...locked up with a thrown away key...
I am actually dreading tomorrow.
We are catering for 21. It will literally be Peter Kay and the Emergency Chairs sketch.

Wow. I'm cooking for 7 and I think that's enough. Stay strong.Gassage said:I am actually dreading tomorrow.

Bread in process of rising.....
This isn't a Tesco menu.....
Feck me. There's four of us and we've been stressing with prep all morning!!! Take my tip - start on the sauce tomorrow before the guests arrive. You'll cruise though the day. Just smile, nod benignly at everyone and raise your glass frequently.Gassage said:I am actually dreading tomorrow.

The best thing about cooking is you can stay in the kitchen all day and avoid the social carnage
For the first time I can remember we have no one around for Christmas. I am rather pleased. Having to pick up and drop relatives off was always a pain, yes I am a miserable git.
Someone posted some photos today that he shot during the first lock down on the Fujifilm subreddit today and I thought....life was much simpler in those days in some ways! No interaction, work from home, peace and quiet.
