Behringer UMC202HD interface

Sorry for the noob question, if I use one of these with xlr cable from my tablet playing backing tracks and xlr from my flyrig guitar fx whilst using the headphone output to my Sennheiser 560 open back headphones , will I be able to hear the backing tracks and my guitar through both sides my my Sennheisers ?

I really don't want backing tracks coming thru one side and guitar thru the other.  Thanks for any help, I have never used an interface before and have to ask these noob questions.

It would depend on the software but you should do, as far as I can picture it. The Audio Interface hardware would be able to.

From what I've read, if you use direct monitoring it always routes input 1 to the left and input 2 to the right, and you need to step up to the 204 or 404 model to have the option of direct monitoring in mono. It's one of the reasons I quickly struck this model off my list when choosing an interface.
