Any 2024 serial nos that can be tracked to the day?

Congratulations on your successful procreation but I have no idea.
Many companies use the formula, Year, Month, Number within production batch.
The only way to get more precise than that would be to have commissioned a bespoke instrument.

Why not do one better and track to the day of conception in 2023? That’s more of a high five moment for you and is going to make for an awesome story round the dinner table when he brings his first partner home (yes, everything you do from here on in his about embarrassing him). ;)

I thought the new Les Paul's Standards only show the year and instrument number.sergio said:Gibson does to the day: https://www.gibson.com/en-GB/Support/Serial-Number-Search
That was true for 2014 to 2019, but from 2019 onwards they're back to the day being digits 2-4 and the year being first and fifth.Octavio said:Hah that's plan B!Teyeplayer said:Why not do one better and track to the day of conception in 2023? Had a Son born this year (2024) and thought it'd be a nice idea to get a guitar from that month. Doesn't have to be a premium brand, but open to all.
I know Greco during the 80's had a system where the letter equated to the month. E.g. E5 would be May 85.
Wondering if a similar system exists today for a particular brand? The month is April btw.
