Weird pasting thing - DuckDuckGo on Android

Hello! In the last few weeks I've encountered a strange thing when trying to paste into the quoting box.

If I try to paste into a new line, that line is removed and the pop-up that lets me choose paste disappears. 

My workaround is to make 3 or 4 new lines and paste into the middle one, then tidy up.

I do not have the same issues on other sites using tye same tablet/browser.

I've had the same, but also in Chrome and Edge on a PC and laptop.

Doesn't happen so much with pasting text, but nearly always with pictures or internet links.

And like you, I hit return a few times, paste when the "paste" option appears, then delete the extra lines.

Come to think of it, I think it's mostly when pasting links. YouTube ones, for example. 

Exactly.  And I agree that it's only started happening the last few weeks, it's definitely a new phenomenon.
