We are fitting out a brand in a store and they have a Tuk Tuk as part of the image.

They want to be able to press a couple of buttons for sounds, one as an engine start up and one for the horn....

All needs to be 12v or similar, what you think ?

I think you should name the store so I don’t accidentally wander in.

Selfridges - brand is Jelly Cat ;-)
Is the problem what device to use to play them?
What about a cheap phone with a player app, two samples and headphone outlet connected to powered speakers?
And no sim so it can't ring!

Or make a website in Wordpress and either host locally or online, add two sounds and a player plug in. Or build a page in PHP. View 'n play with a tablet.

I think the items that Siejen posted will do it, you can attach a small speaker and trigger sounds from an SD card...nice little gadget ;-)
