If you select text formatting first then quote a post, it inherits that formatting. Interesting.
Just testing code written in here with backticks.
# Oh, cool. Three backticks works to do code, and you can do syntax highlighting too...
def hello_world
puts "Howdy!"
end
# Nope, syntax highlighting only works in the editor. Bugger.
///is this a backtick?
\\\or this?
Ah. Maybe '''this
This?
Right.
```it's this
Ah - you need a space.
Why isn't VBA - king of all languages - in the list?
Because I still have PTSD from being forced to build an enterprise project management system using Microsoft Office.Sporky said:
Tried to post and got a 500 so not going to rewrite it in full but in short:
- Don't see how to navigate back to the (sub) forum from the thread i.e. breadcrumbs
- The quote and reply buttons are more prominent than the post text. In fact everything e.g. usernames is more prominent than the post text. Refactoring UI is a good resource for this.
Yes, this should be considered a very early alpha, most stuff is missing in terms of the front end. More like...a technology preview :)topdog91 said:
The 500 was likely due to an emoji (or other character that's not currently supported), it's in the bug list.
